Implementation of the Project

JICA, the executing agency for technical cooperation of the Government of Japan, will implement the Project under the JICA Partnership Program in collaboration with HEAA (based on the agreement signed by the two governments endorsing the implementation of the Project).

Measures to be taken by JICA

To implement the Project efficiently and effectively, JICA will supervise the overall implementation of the Project. Based on a contract to be signed by JICA and HEAA, JICA will entrust the actual implementation of the Project to HEAA. (JICA understands that members of the project team dispatched for the implementation of the Project will be accorded privileges, exemptions, and benefits in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in Serbia.

JICA will bear only those expenses it considers necessary for the implementation of the Project.

JICA will maintain ownership of the equipment or facility to be procured through its funding for the implementation of the Project in accordance with the Project Outline, throughout the Project implementation period.

Measures to be taken by FCUB and Pančevo City

The authorities concerned of FCUB and Pančevo City will cooperate with HEAA in assuring the successful implementation of the Project.

The authorities concerned of FCUB and Pancevo City will provide HEAA and JICA with necessary information such as data, map and documents that will allow efficient and effective implementation of the Project.

The authorities concerned of FCUB will provide HEAA and JICA with necessary information about details on security conditions.

When the equipment or facility is deemed necessary for the sustainable and effective continuation of the activity by FCUB, ownership of the equipment or facility after completion of the Project will be considered and determined through consultation among the parties concerned before the completion of the Project.

HEAA and FCUB will bear responsibility for the maintenance of the equipment or facility.
